Rock Paper Simple is glad to have Rini Simon join the team as a web developer! Rini started her career as an intern at Rock Paper Simple after earning her Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology. As a student she was a member of the debate club (don’t challenge her logical reasoning!) Rini was also involved in academic research as a Master’s student. Her love of learning helps her continue to find new ways to implement dynamic functionality in the websites we design.
Rini was born and raised in Hyderabad, India. Her hometown is the city of Nizam in Hyderabad. In 2014 she moved to the United States to pursue her Master’s degree in Computer Science. It was also her love to travel that lead Rini to move to the United States to continue her education and now work as a web developer!
In her spare time, Rini enjoys spending time in nature and is always amazed by God and His beautiful creation. She gains inspiration from exploring the world around her and enjoys capturing it through drawing and photography. She is also a great host and looks for any chance she gets to prepare a meal for her lucky friends.
We dug a little deeper to get to know Rini better. Check out how she answered these fun questions!
You have a 2-week, all expenses paid vacation. Where do you go?
I would happily go to India! There is always more to see!
What was your dream job when you were growing up?
As a kid I wanted to be a house wife, because I thought I could buy whatever I wanted and wouldn’t have to go to work.
If you could bring any musician back from the dead, who would it be?
All of the classical composers!
How do you define, or measure, success?
You are successful as long as you enjoy the work you do, are filled with a sense of satisfaction at the end of the day, and have something new to offer for tomorrow.
How do you overcome (big or small) challenges?
Life was not promised to be smooth. I see challenges as opportunities for growth as I strive to give my best with faith in God that he will see me through.
