Diana has always had a passion for nonprofits and community engagement, as she knows the value in building strong relationships and growing together. Her focus is to continue to grow Rock Paper Simple’s engagement and impact on our community by partnering with local organizations (nonprofits, businesses and even local government), managing our grant program, and organizing volunteer and teambuilding opportunities for the entire the team.

After graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Elementary Education, Diana moved to Florida and taught elementary students for 7 years where she earned numerous awards, notably including an Elementary Social Studies Teacher of the Year award for the state of Florida. She also earned her Masters in Educational Leadership before setting her sights on a doctoral program. Currently in the process of earning her doctorate in Public Administration with a focus on public sector and nonprofit management, Diana is a lifelong learner and is excited to have found a position at Rock Paper Simple that joins her knowledge of public sector organizations with her passion for giving back to and building up the local community.

Outside of RPS, Diana loves spending time at Disney (with a certain Head Honcho), volunteering within her local community, singing in the choir at her church, or relaxing in her home library surrounded by stacks of books. The hardest decision, however, is always what to read next!
