Maria

Maria was always a very shy individual, but that was until she discovered talking a lot, a skill that would take her very far in life, literally. Being born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and after obtaining her degree in Marketing and Communications, Maria started working as a content creator at a local marketing agency, where she was soon promoted to Account Manager due to her undeniable interpersonal skills. After a while, she felt like a small piece was missing from her life. She thought perhaps moving abroad, learning a new language, and starting a new life would do the trick. What could go wrong? A global pandemic? LOL.

While the world completely shut down, Maria had only one goal in mind: To continue to talk a lot. So she joined a rock climbing gym and found a job opportunity that allowed her to work from home as an online advisor for L’oreal. Although she was happy with having her cat, Dabbie, as a coworker, she was missing the feeling of being part of a team and, of course, all the other fun marketing stuff.

What’s that? A job opening with a stormtrooper? Immediately yes. As it turns out, Maria was the Client Success Manager that Rock Paper Simple was looking for. It could have been her ample experience in client-facing roles or her love of all things Star Wars, but one thing is for sure: She is very happy to be here.
