Melbourne Police Department is an excellent example of strong strategy and process. The goal was to create a recruitment tool that inspired, excited, and educated potential recruits on the various capabilities of the MPD. Since the primary competition of law enforcement is the military, the video needed to have an action style that spoke to the primarily younger target audience. The video won multiple American Advertising Awards and had incredible results for the MPD, including increased number of recruits and inquiries from all over the world. The video was also rated by the organization Police One, as one of the top 5 recruitment videos in the world.
