I Love My Island, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports the Merritt Island area through outreach programs and initiatives. Its mission is to provide and promote resources for seniors, to sponsor and support a variety of youth activities ranging from academics to athletics, to offer relief to individuals and families in times of crisis, and to collaborate with others to contribute to the welfare of the Merritt Island area. Their foundation’s funding sources primarily include the My Island Thrift Store and individual donors.
The goal of this website project was to be a one-stop-shop for all resources, from donation and thrift store information to services and volunteer forms. The design of this website features the fun, tropical atmosphere of Merritt Island and easily guides patrons through the various offerings of the organization. Above all, this website communicates how strongly I Love My Island cares for the community and its dedication to assisting all those in need.
