At Rock Paper Simple, our team’s hard work, passion, and innovation were recognized in a big way at the Space Coast American Advertising Awards last month. As the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, the ADDYs attract over 25,000 entries annually. To take home multiple gold awards was an incredible honor for our team, and a testament to our evolution as a branding agency.

Celebrating Our Wins

The awards ceremony was a moment of pride for all of us at Rock Paper Simple. Our team secured two Gold ADDYs.

Our first Gold ADDY was awarded for our work with BRPH, a project that went beyond a standard microsite to become an immersive digital experience. Designed for their Third Space initiative, this site was meant to stand out—and it did. Not only did it win Gold, but it also earned Best of Website for the entire competition, reinforcing our team’s ability to push boundaries in branding and digital design.

We also won a gold ADDY for our Rock Paper Simple tour video, a project that was all about energy, personality, and the unique culture we cultivate in our office. With every team member involved, a Nerf gun battle in the middle, and a clever looping format, this video was a perfect showcase of what makes us, well, fun and different.

The Power of Branding

Transitioning into a full-fledged branding agency has been an exciting journey. At Rock Paper Simple, we don’t just create marketing materials; we build brands that tell stories. The distinction between branding and marketing is crucial—branding lays the foundation. It defines the message before the marketing even begins.

A great example of this is our work with Molinari Pools. When they approached us, they were at a pivotal moment, evolving from a family-run business into a luxury, high-end brand. Their old identity didn’t reflect their ambition. Our challenge was to craft a brand that conveyed premium quality while staying true to their family values. The result? A sleek new logo, a refined brand identity, and the tagline “Love People. Love Pools.” — a simple yet powerful phrase that embodies their mission and resonates deeply with their audience.

Looking Ahead to 2025

As we continue our journey as a branding agency, we look forward to telling more incredible stories. One of our Silver ADDY winners was a heartfelt anniversary video for RUSH Construction, Inc., designed to highlight their decades of expertise and dedication.

The ultimate compliment? Their CEO told us the video had one major problem—it was making his entire team cry.
