Tom
Senior Graphic Designer
The Road to Graphic Designer
Originally from Chicago, Tom started his graphic design career in The Space Coast. Having an opportunity to help make graphics for Brevard’s Live2Lead event some years back, he learned to love graphic design and printing. From there, Tom freelanced while going to school at EFSC for graphic design and eventually landed a job at a local photo studio editing pictures. After getting promoted to graphic designer, Tom took those skills to a local print shop and finally landed his dream job at a marketing agency by working at Rock Paper Simple. He loves working with the team, and you often hear him yell, “Go Team!” to pump up the team.
Responsive to Websites
Since he started at Rock Paper Simple, Tom has enjoyed working with various clients on different projects; however, he enjoys working on websites the most. Before Rock Paper Simple, Tom did not have much experience designing websites, but he responded to them quickly and positively. Tom’s favorite web design projects he’s worked on are coralreefacademy.com and dronegeox.com. He loves the look and feel of those websites as well as the collaboration that helped create them. Tom has also won his first Addy award with Rock Paper Simple, designing eXpressbadging.com.
People, Places, and Games
Tom lives in Palm Bay with his wife, Katie (a very talented designer), and their three kids. Tom enjoys going to church with his family and friends and his various nerdy hobbies when he isn’t at work. Tom has a growing collection of board and card games in which; he has over 60 board games in his collection. With board games, he enjoys collecting, designing, and speaking about them. He also can’t prove it by any metric; Tom is confident that he is better at board games than Joshua.
